At 10am I got the message I had been crossing my fingers for – a text saying “Shall we give it a go?”.  Deep joy, as we had not known whether we’d be able to catch up with Nick on this trip. Arrived at his home on the hill at 12.30; look left when knocking on his door to get a good view of the sea down below.  Introduced him to his kettle which, amazingly, he hardly ever uses! In return he introduced us to his cat and finely tuned musical fish tank.
